During The Entire Holiday Season, Ray Catena Motor Cars Will Be Collecting Donations For Local Food Pantries Ray Catena is proud to announce that all the Ray Catena dealerships will once again be participating in the collection of canned goods, non-perishable items and packaged goods (no glass, please) to be donated to a local food pantry in your area .
In the spirit of giving, you will receive a $25.00 discount on any service invoice of $200.00 or more with the donation of 6 food pantry items!
During the months of November and December, we will be a drop-off point for donations to this very worthy endeavor to fight hunger in these challenging times. Preferred items include: cereal, peanut butter, rice, canned meats, pasta, soup, shampoo, soap, deodorant and paper products.

About Dave Fleming
David M. Fleming passed away on June 13, 2008, just 1 day before his 50th birthday, after a 16-month battle with brain cancer. Dave Fleming was a dedicated employee and leader of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. for 26 years. During Dave’s tenure at Toyota, he served in a number of field and management positions for both Toyota and Lexus in the Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, and New York Regions as well as with the Lexus Eastern Area before returning to New York as Vice President and General Manager. In 2005, Dave was named Vice President of Sales for the Toyota Division. In 2007, Dave returned to the New York Region once again as its Vice President and General Manager, where he remained until his passing.
Dave was also a tremendous family man. Dave and his wife Kris have three sons, Ryan, Peter, and Sean. Kris and her sons remain a close part of the New York Region family today. Ryan is currently employed at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. in the company's Management Trainee program. Peter has expressed an interest in the retail side of the automotive business and is currently working at a dealership in New Jersey. Sean, a Senior in High School, is busy applying for college.
About The David Fleming Foundation
Established in August 2008 shortly after Dave’s passing, The David Fleming Foundation was established to support worthy endeavors identified by the Fleming family in Dave's memory. Kris Fleming serves as the foundation’s trustee. Kris has expressed the desire to use the foundation to focus on grief counseling and support for families who are going through the terminal illness of a loved one, both during the illness and after the loved one’s death, as one of these endeavors. In particular, The David Fleming Foundation has identified that there is not much available in terms of counseling and support for the 16-24 year old age group in this type of illness and loss. Kris is currently studying for her GRE so she may begin work on a Masters Degree in Counseling this coming Spring and help actively support a center that addresses these counseling needs in Dave's memory. |
 | Gilda's Club is a network of affiliate clubhouses where men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their friends and families, meet to learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome.
Gilda's Club seeks to provide an emotional and social support community for people living with cancer as well as their friends and families, as an essential complement to medical care. Fundamental to the Gilda's Club philosophy is that membership is completely free of charge, and that the clubhouse environment is warm, welcoming, and non-institutional. |
