The standard 2024 Lexus LC500 comes with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that makes 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. With a 0 to 60 mph time of under five seconds, it’s clear Lexus is committed to making a luxury sports car. The engine is mated to a quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission to ensure a smooth delivery of power.

For those New Jersey drivers interested in a hybrid car, there is the Lexus LC500h. This model comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with two electric motors to make 345 horsepower. You can also opt for the Performance package, which includes variable steering and rear-wheel steering. But we feel the standard chassis offers enough for the GT feel of this car. 

An ideal mix of luxury and performance

As you would expect from Lexus, the Lexus LC500 brings plenty of luxury to the table. Inside, you can get things like a heated steering wheel, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a variety of leather seating colors. For a lucky number of buyers, there is a new Inspiration Series that is limited to just 125 models. This package has a limited-slip differential, performance dampers, and a blue leather interior.
