After having an extremely negative experience with Lexus of Edison and Lexus of Bridgewater (same owners), it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Ray Catena's Lexus of Monmouth on the purchase of my new car. Lea was a consummate sales professional throughout the process and Chad, one of the sales managers, was extremely helpful as well. Based on my experience, I would recommend the dealership to anyone in the market for a Lexus.

LONG STORY: I was in the market for a new car, did a bunch of research and decided on an RC. I really wanted specific packages/accessories so I wanted to do a custom order. The two dealers I spoke to in my local area weren't the slightest bit interested in my custom order so I resulted to just finding whatever was in stock in the Eastern US and matching the specs as close as possible. Ray Catena of Monmouth had one in stock that was close enough but not quite what I wanted but I reached out anyway about it. Geoff was the one who reached back out to me and told me to let him know if I had any questions. I figured i'd just ask if they were willing to do a custom order out of curiousity and to my surprise they agreed! After a long 5 month process of waiting and figuring out logistics, my girlfriend and I made the long drive from Virginia to New Jersey to pick up the car and I absolutely LOVE IT. Geoff even went out of his way to come in on his day off because we were unable to make the trip when he would be in office. Thank you Geoff for all of the help throughout the entire process. And a thanks to the rest of the staff as well for the great experience of buying my first vehicle. Funny little tidbit, we got an RC from RC(Ray Catena) for RC(me, my initials).

It was time to return my leased car for a new one, and although I had a very positive with Ray Catena, my former contact there with whom I had developed a very cordial relationship had since moved on to perpetual warm and sunny climes. I was truly disappointed and a bit apprehensive, but those feelings quickly dissipated when I had the good fortune to meet Tony Trocchia. Tony, affable, charming, a gentleman as well as a gentle man. Smiling, he quietly listened to me yap yap on and on about the car I wanted. I was completely disarmed and put at ease as he professionally steered to me EXACTLY what I wanted. To say I'm pleased is an under statement. He did not have the car in stock but promised he'd procure it in a few days; he did. It is said that very often we sometimes forget what is said and done to us; what we never forget is how people make you feel. I could've taken possession of the vehicle earlier than I did, but on Tony's sound advice I waited, as he suggested, until the recent snow storm had passed. How thoughtful is that. He is an angel of kindness and goodness and caring, and I certainly appreciate it. Care compounds!!! I can't forget other members of the team. Mike Battaglia, pleasantly shy but very professional and efficient, as well as John Slover the young techie who patiently and knowledgeably answered all my questions and filled me on all updates. Although it took a little bit of time to get the car I wanted, I greatly appreciate all of Alex's efforts and advisement in the process of securing my Sedan. Just needs to stop calling me "sir" :) My only contention, when you promote a feature about the car because YOU think it is good, please be sure to know and read your audience, because they might not feel the same. I was in the market for a particular vehicle. I saw a local lexus dealer near me had 6 of the vehicle i was looking for and lexus of Monmouth had 1. I read the customer reviews of the local dealer, and I read the reviews of Lexus of Monmouth. I decided to drive an hour away from my house to Lexus of Monmouth to look at that one Lexus that they had in stock. sadly upon arriving the Lexus was already on hold for somebody, however JASON talked to me and asked me about my driving and the difference between the vehicle i wanted versus another vehicle that might be a better fit. We test drove two and i decided to go with the rx 350 f sport. From start to finish Jason was patient and not pushy. He explained all my options and made the car buying experience very easy and painless. Great guy and good salesman. Kuddos to Lexus of Monmouth as well for not having a bunch of junk fees and making the process easy. I would definitely recommend Jason/lexus of Monmouth to friends and family.

I purchased a new ES 350 last Saturday from Ray Catena, and worked with Harvey Katz. Harvey was great to work with. He answered all my questions on both the car and the purchasing process, and located an ES 350 with the features I wanted very quickly. The car was then available for me to pick up within a few days. Harvey spent a great deal of time with me, both for the initial meeting and test drive and when I picked up the car. Harvey also kept me informed on the progress on locating the car I wanted. I am extremely pleased with how the process went and would certainly choose Ray Catena and work with Harvey in the future. In addition, Anthony explained the warranties to me in great detail, and Eddie spent a great deal of time with me going through the various features and option configurations. This was the second ES 350 that I purchased from Ray Catena. I worked with Harvey for the previous purchase also, and was very pleased with that experience as well. In my opinion, the ES 350 is an excellent car; I owned my previous ES 350 for eighteen years and had excellent service from it the entire time, which is what led to choose to replace it with a new ES 350.
